The Bonsai Site
In Japanese, bonsai is literally translated as 'tray planting' however since originating in Asia, many centuries ago - it has developed into a new form. First, the tree and the pot appearance a single harmonious unit where the texture and shape of one, praises the other. It’s not enough to plant a tree in a pot and let nature to take its course - the effect would not look like a tree and would look short-lived. Every twig of a bonsai is shaped until the chosen figure is achieved.
